i am stand-up comedian that hosts and produces a monthly music and comedy showcase on the west side of california ave. in humboldt park, chicago.
throughout the summer and fall, the show took place in my backyard. the goal was to get professional comics from clubs around the city in a fun, outdoor setting and to introduce stand-up comedy to new people.
i accomplished this by booking amazing comics, musicians, and photographers for every show, as well as personally designing detailed movie-like posters.
i put on five successful shows, from june through october, until we took a hiatus for the holidays.
since january, the show has been back in action. it is now held at the continental lounge, which sits at the intersection of chicago ave. and california ave.
